Kansa Plate Set, 7 Pieces

Long before modern dinnerware, Indian homes ate from kansa — bronze, an alloy of copper and tin, cherished for centuries in Ayurveda for mindful, wholesome eating. This Deziworkz Kansa Plate Set of 7 pieces brings that tradition back to your table with a warm golden lustre that only deepens with use.

The Deziworkz difference: unlike most kansa sets, ours includes a matching kansa fork at no extra cost — because our founder believes a complete set must have one.

In the box (7 pieces)

• 1 thaal (dinner plate)
• 3 katoris — for dal, sabzi and curd or dessert
• 1 tumbler — for water or lassi
• 1 spoon
• 1 kansa fork — complimentary

Why you'll love it

• Uncoated kansa that develops a soft, natural patina over time
• A complete traditional setting for one — build a set for the family
• A meaningful wedding, griha pravesh and Diwali gift

Care

• Hand wash with a mild dishwashing liquid, or clean the traditional way with tamarind (imli) paste.
• Rinse and dry completely with a soft cloth straight after washing.
• Made for serving and eating, not for storing food. Avoid leaving sour or acidic foods in kansa for long periods.
• Not dishwasher or microwave safe. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbers.

Each piece is handcrafted, so slight variations in colour, size and finish are natural and part of its character.
